Brief Description

With a Retirement/Pension/Provident Fund set up for your company, you can look forward to a systematic payment of determinable financial benefits to eligible employees either in lump sum upon his retirement / separation from the company or over a period of years after retirement. The benefits to be received are fixed or pre-determined, and the funding of the plan to meet the retirement benefits and costs are actuarially estimated.

Retirement Fund Management helps corporate clients comply with the Retirement Law 7641 which mandates companies to pay retirement benefits to their regular employees. With a minimum investment amount of PhP1,000,000 or USD25,000 (for new accounts), corporate clients are automatically entitled to:

  • A professionally managed portfolio
  • A dedicated Account Officer in charge of addressing the daily requirements of the client
  • A fund that is customized to the retirement fund's requirements
  • Quarterly financial reports to track the fund performance
  • A fund review that may be conducted several times a year, as requested
  • Assistance in applying for BIR Tax Exemption for the retirement fund
  • Assistance in searching for actual services needed for setting up the plan

  • Retirement Fund Management Forms
  • Investment Policy Statement (this document is subject to the client suitability assessment results and upon discussion with CTBC Bank's Trust and Investment Services Department)
  • Latest Actuarial Valuation Report from a Third Party Actuary
  • Retirement Plan Rules
  • BIR Tax Qualification Letter
  • Photocopy of 1 unexpired government-issued ID of all the signatories and shareholders of up to 20% as stated in the General Information Sheet
  • Original copy of the Secretary's Certificate or Board Resolution appointing CTBC Bank's Trust and Investment Services Department as the Trustee
  • Certified True Copy of the Articles of Incorporation
  • Certified True Copy of the By Laws
  • Certified True Copy of the General Information Sheet
