In view of the Bank's full migration to the EMV chip card technology, we
will be implementing the following measures effective June 25, 2018:
- All CTBC Bank issued magstripe/non-EMV cards will be deactivated.
- Since all payment cards (e.g. ATM/Debit Card and Prepaid/Cash
Card) should now be EMV chip compliant, CTBC Bank cardholders
who were not able to have their magstripe card/s replaced should
contact either their Business Center of Account or our 24/7
Customer Care Hotline at 840-1234 (Metro Manila) or 1 800 10 840-
1234 (toll-free from other provinces through PLDT) IMMEDIATELY.
To claim your new CTBC Bank EMV cards, please bring the
following:
- Existing/Old CTBC Bank magstripe card
- One (1) government-issued ID with photo and signature
*You may also take this opportunity to update your personal
information/records and/or signature specimen on file with us.
However, for CTBC Bank Debit/Cash cardholders whose cards were
issued by our Co-branded partners or are under Payroll Accounts, please
coordinate with the company's authorized representative/s for card
replacement.
